Izzy Judd shares the story of her and her husband Harry's fertility journey in this honest and heartfelt memoir.

'All I ever wanted was to be a mum - I couldn't wait and it felt as though my time was so close. But the months started to tick by, with each one ending in disappointment and frustration. And then the inevitable panic started to set in ...'

Having been told by doctors that, due to Izzy's polycystic ovarian syndrome, they would have difficulty conceiving - and after two years of trying - Izzy and Harry turned to IVF.

Izzy's aim, drawing on her own experience, is to break through some of the taboos surrounding miscarriage, IVF and fertility issues. This brutally honest and deeply personal account will acknowledge the struggles that so many couples go through but will ultimately focus on the positive, life-changing and remarkable results that IVF can yield. One in seven couples in the UK have difficulty conceiving and although many babies are now born through IVF, there is still a sense of awkwardness around the subject.

Izzy hopes that this book will be a companion to those going through similar challenges to those she has experienced. As she herself says, 'No couple should have to go through it alone and in silence.'

Izzy Judd, wife of McFly's Harry Judd, shares the story of their fertility journey in this open and honest memoir.

I bought this book when I saw Izzy on a TV interview talking about the book , so I then run and ordered it before even being out for sale . I love this book, I could not put it down, unfortunately I went on IVF treatment in Spain last week and forgot it on British Airways's seat before even get on half way through, so sad :( . I have had one unsuccessful IVF and I now am going on second trial I am sure this book would help me so much. Even though I haven't finish it was really enjoyable the pages I have read.

This really is a wonderful read and resonates so deeply with people that are, or have, experienced fertility struggles. I felt as though I was reading my own journey in so many parts. Izzy is so honest about her journey and she writes with such sensitivity. As someone who is currently experiencing fertility struggles and miscarriage, I really found this book to be a great comfort and very uplifting. Izzy has helped me recognise that my heartache won't be in vain. Having her lovely daughter made her appreciate the miracle of becoming a mum and this has made me think about approaching my journey in a more positive way. Thank you Izzy for lifting my spirits. Please don't hesitate to read this if you have fertility struggles or want to help support someone you love who is also going through this.

Dare to Dream has given both my husband and I hope during a stage of our life where all the lights had gone out. It allowed us to feel connected and reassured that we aren't in this journey alone. Izzy's words are so honest and thought provoking at times it was as if she was narrating our life. Her book has opened up a new community to us and started discussions and awareness - all things which are invaluable! Izzy managed to portray the desperation and anger so well but also balance it with positivity and raw emotion which so many other books seem to lack. Her book is so well written and I couldn't recommend this read more to anyone (whether it be yourself, a friend or a family member!) going through fertility struggles. The book gives a heart and a face behind a topic that otherwise is so blunt and medical orinated.

Fantastic book and thoroughly enjoyed reading it. I'm due to start my IVF soon and as soon as I saw this book I knew I just had to read it. Izzy's honest and wanting to share what she was thinking and how she was feeling was so refreshing. I e even bought my mum a copy because she wanted to understand everything that comes with going through the IVF process more. Definitely recommend this book.
