Review Text

I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed with this. Don't let the publishing date fool you, this is a reprint of something that was obviously published many, many years ago. It feels lazy to not even add updated photos that don't look like they were taken in the 80s or 90s. There are SO many amazing photographers out there using film and producing excellent work that it's a little that it seems like no new photis were even used for this book. That's fine if you're only reading the tiny tiny text, as it does go through the main elements and basics of film photography, but it serms like they didyeven bother to include newer films like Fuji Pro 400h or kodak Portra and instead have a picture that includes a film/s that have been discontinued. Nowhere in this book does it say when the first edition was printed, bit if i had wanted to read something so obviously outdated I could have gone to a library

This book is not easy to follow as stated in the description because the text is too small to read with glasses on!! To make matters worse the company I bought it from is refusing to issue a full refund even though this book is not fit for purpose so unless you have exceptionally good eyesight avoid this tittle at all costs!

Content is outdated, uninspiring and a waste of time. I waited over a year for this to be published on Amazon, and for me, it turned out to be a total let down.
