In his sixth adventure, Humphrey heads off for the great outdoors.

When Humphrey hears that school is ending, he panics. School ends? What's a classroom hamster to do if he's not in school? But as it turns out, there's something thrilling in store for Humphrey and Og the frog: going to Camp Happy Hollow with Ms. Mac and lots of the kids from Room 26! Camper Humphrey meets a friendly wild mouse, tracks down Og when he gets lost by the lake, and uses his wily charm to help kids adjust to cabin life and make new friends.

Everyone's favorite classroom pet keeps entertaining kids across the nation, and his books have won eight state awards and were nominated for fourteen others.

"Humphrey is a witty, fun, and lovable character with great kid appeal." -School Library Journal -- Dieser Text bezieht sich auf eine vergriffene oder nicht verfügbare Ausgabe dieses Titels.

This was a disappointment as it is exactly the same as "Holidays According to Humphrey", the only difference is the title! Very bad marketing and not fair on those who purchase it!

this book also goes by the name of Holidays According to Humphrey, which we already have. I feel my nose is well and truly rubbed in it when near the top of the page it states Summer According to Humphrey and Holidays According to Humphrey together are frequently bought together! Nice.Amazon should make it very clear that this is also available under a different name.Other than that it is a very enjoyable book, as are all in the Humphrey series, and my son wanted to keep both!

My five-year old, who is hamster-mad, is loving reading through these books at bedtime. They are American and so do have recess not break/playtime, principal not headteacher etc etc, but none of this has confused him at all.My one gripe is that I bought this and "More Adventures According to Humphrey", only to find that "More Adventures . . ." is virtually identical to "Adventures According to Humphrey" while "Summer . . ." IS identical to "Holidays According to Humphrey", both of which we already had. This may be made clear somewhere on the jackets, but I've been too busy to look in that much detail.More Adventures According to Humphrey

Very misleading books - why are selling US version of Humphrey books. My daughter got 4 books for her birthday that she thought were new stories only to find she already had all of them.Summer according to Humphrey is US version of Holidays according to HumphreyWinter according to Humphrey is US version of Christmas according to HumphreySchool Days according to Humphrey is US version of School according to HumphreyAdventure according to Humphrey is US version of More Adventures according to Humphrey.Very disappointed with these books and think it should be made very clear when buying that they are same books under different titles. Better than that - don't sell two version of the same book on the same website

Brilliant. My son (8) and I have read almost all the Humphrey books so I was delighted to find one on CD.Four discs and great funky interlude music! As you would expect it is an American reader.

We brought this for my son for Christmas, have only just started reading it, only to discover when we got to page 121, that it has changed to a completely different book!! The Twenty one Balloons. We googled it and it is a book by an American author, this goes on to page 153, then returns to Humphrey, sadly missing a large chunk of the story. It is now to late to return it to Amazon. Obviously we have been sold a dodgy book. Beware.

A lovely book, amusing and well written. I am enjoying the story too. The only problem is that my daughter now wants the whole series!
