Blood makes you related. Loyalty makes you family.

In the underbelly of Soho’s organised crime ring, everyone knows that retired boxer Harry Woods is not one to mess with. And that goes double for his family.

Harry has it all: the big house, the flashy cars, and an abundance of wealth. As much as money talks in his world, Harry knows deep down the only thing that really counts is family. Haunted by the sudden death of his wife, he’ll do anything to protect his children, but truth is a heavy burden and hidden secrets can unravel even the strongest of bonds...

Without loyalty, family are bound together only by blood. Bad blood.

This book is written by someone who is a hairdresser in 'normal' life - it is one of the most graphic novels I've read at times - I've often wondered what hairdressers must think about every day!. I felt quite scared and horrified at times with the amazing descriptions of the torture type behaviours and the suspense that Casey Kelleher can engender. This is complex story about London's underworld and is very engaging if scary.

This is the first book of Casey Kelleher I have read and its also the first of many more! Definitely on a par with Martina Cole and Kimberley Chambers! Lots of twists and turns and not an ending I expected! Can't wait to read the rest of her books!

What a story teller Casey's is this is my third book this week! Can't get enough of them, all the twists and turns in the plot as the events unfold all intertwined with one and other you just don't realise how until later as they all start to connect. Even then it's not quite what you expect. Simply brilliant.

I have enjoyed all Casey's books and each one has been better than the.last. great characters , storyline so good just had to keep on reading . In my top ten. Books of the year . And I read a lot being disabled and housebound. There are not of similar grit lit wri.ters who are compared. To Martina Cole but I think with. This book Casey has written as good as Martina . Real five star
